This blog is my attempt to chronicle a journey towards a simpler, more natural way of living. I don't always talk about green things directly but everything here, the pondering, the adventures, the lessons, the complaining, is about getting me to the point of living a rich and enjoyable that leaves as little impact on the environment as possible while somehow meaningfully touching the other people & beings whose lives intersect mine.
I am a devout Tibetan Buddhist and while there may be references to terms and ideas relating to my practice, I will rarely explain any of them in detail. I am not a Teacher and can not speak for any particular tradition or philosophy. I only have my own experiences to share but if in reading of my experiences you learn something about yourself, your faith, your life experience, I'm glad.
I am an advocate for human rights, animal rights, indigenous rights, diversity in all its forms, interfaith understanding and a return to simplicity that includes total respect for the Earth.
It is my hope that everyone who happens across this blog may find true happiness and the opportunities to live a life of which they are proud.
Who am I when there is no "I" ?

I have no idea what you're saying but I like Coldplay in general. Sometimes they move me. But they don't feel me - that would upset my husband.
